Why is responsible gaming important?
Online casino and betting can be an exciting form of entertainment. However, when gaming goes beyond entertainment and begins to have a negative effect on daily life, it becomes a problem. At ek9997 we place the wellbeing of every member as our top priority.
The core principle of responsible gaming is to set a budget and time limit for yourself before you play and stick to them strictly. ek9997 offers a number of effective tools and features to help you do this.
We believe responsible gaming not only protects your financial security but also safeguards your mental health and your relationships with family. That is why at ek9997 we have built responsible gaming as part of our culture.
Important reminder
Gaming should never be used as a source of income. Play at ek9997 for entertainment only, and only with an amount of money whose loss would have no impact on your financial life.
Our responsible gaming tools
ek9997 offers the following tools to keep your gaming experience safe and controlled.
Deposit Limit
Set the maximum amount you will deposit each day, each week, or each month. Once a limit is set it takes effect immediately. To increase a limit you must wait a specified period, which keeps you from making decisions driven by impulse.
Time-Out Feature
If you feel you need a short break, you can temporarily suspend your account for a set period. During a time-out you cannot play any games or make deposits. It is an effective way to give yourself some rest.
Self-Exclusion
Choose self-exclusion when you need a longer break. With this feature your account is fully deactivated for a specified period. Promotional emails are also stopped during self-exclusion.
Loss Limit
Decide in advance how much you are willing to lose within a given period. Once you reach your loss limit you will not be able to place any more bets. This tool is a powerful way to keep financial losses under control.
Gaming History Review
View the complete history of your gaming activity — when you played, how much you spent, and how much you won or lost. Reviewing your own behaviour is the first step in responsible gaming.
24/7 Support

Recognise the signs of problem gaming
If any of the following signs apply to you, it may be an important signal that you should use responsible gaming tools or take a break.
- A tendency to bet more in order to recover lost money — the mindset of "one more try and I will win."
- Neglecting family, friends, or work because of gaming.
- Exceeding your gaming budget and using money set aside for essential household expenses.
- Betting with borrowed or loaned money.
- Hiding the extent of your gaming from family or friends.
- Feeling restless, anxious, or irritable when you cannot play.
- Repeatedly continuing to play beyond your set time and budget.
- Gaming disrupting your sleep, eating, or daily routine.
If these signs appear, contact our live chat immediately or use the self-exclusion tool. Seeking help is a sign of courage — not weakness.
